Documented history
Ultras Murcia 1908: Real Murcia's ultra group since 2007
Ultras Murcia 1908 is the ultra group of Real Murcia. Its official account on X says it has defended Murcia and Real Murcia «since 2007», and its blog places the common «Ultras Murcia» banner in the 2007/08 season. The 1908 refers to the year associated with the club, not to the founding of the group.
Precedent: Granas Sur (1989–2004)
La Soga places the birth of Granas Sur, Real Murcia's ultra group of that period, in 1989. According to the Ultras Murcia blog, Granas Sur signed its dissolution with a press release in late October 2004.

On 3 January 2005, eight supporters created Curva Panadero, which according to the group's account rejected both violence and politics. In the Curva Sur there coexisted Fans 1908, the only banner of that January, Gruppo Ostile, from February 2005, and Torcida Grana, from August. It is a retrospective reconstruction by a participant, not an official record.

The fanzine «Fondo Sur 1908» debuted at the inauguration of Nueva Condomina, against Valladolid. The same account records that in 2006/07 a group that considered itself far-right, Frente Bastetano, made its debut, and its members later stood behind the common «Ultras Murcia» banner, unveiled the following season. In April 2008, the blog published the contents pages of issues 13 and 14 of the fanzine.

The blog documents tifos such as the stand cover with the Cathedral and a huertano, the slogan «Mi único escudo» («My only crest») and, in October 2007 against Recreativo, a red-background stand cover with a white cross and 1908 in each quadrant, with Real Murcia's crest in the centre.

The blog called Castellón's supporters «brothers» and in September 2007 describes a trip to Villarreal with more than fifty Murcia ultras, accompanied by people from Cruzada Albinegra and Frente Orellut. Locally, its reports present the derbies with Ciudad de Murcia as a sporting rivalry of the city. These are details from the group's own 2007 account.

In April 2018, elDiario.es reported that Real Murcia's ultras were marking ten years since their foundation and had received a congratulatory video from Pablo Escobar's former head of hitmen, who asked them to keep fighting against «the communists»; it is a message from a third party, not a self-definition by the group. In November 2021, the same newspaper cited a report by the Brigada Provincial de Información that placed among its members the two people charged over the attack on Podemos's office in Cartagena on 2 April 2020, and that concluded that no far-right mobilisation in the region took place without its leaders' authorisation. These are police charges and conclusions cited by the press, not convictions.
