Documented history
Jove Elx: the Elche ultra group since 1982
Jove Elx was born in 1982. In February 2012 it celebrated its thirtieth anniversary with a video that covers material, chants and away trips since its foundation; Elche's Memoria digital added it to its catalogue in November 2014. Its relationship with Elche CF has gone through different stages, from the limits on collaboration communicated by the club in 2013 to its participation in campaigns supporting the team.
2010–2011: clashes with Bukaneros and with the police
In April 2010, members of Bukaneros, of Rayo Vallecano, burst into a Jove Elx gathering in Elche and left three people injured, according to Marca. The final degree project by Baltasar Barceló Sánchez (UMH, 2023) records that brawl and another with the police inside the Martínez Valero during the match against Xerez in 2011; the author states that he was part of the police operation that intervened.

On 21 August 2013, Elche CF reported National Police instructions not to organise or facilitate Jove Elx's away trips, citing precedents in earlier campaigns, and limited institutional collaboration with the group. In April 2014, during the #YoConfío survival campaign, the club published a statement by a representative identified with Jove Elx alongside those of other supporters' groups, with a call to unite the fans.

20minutos' December 2014 overview cited Ultra Yomus, of Valencia, and Frente Bokerón, of Málaga, as allies of Jove Elx, and Herculigans, of Hércules, as an enemy. Ultra Yomus listed Jove Elx among its allies, and Sección Kolokón, of Granada, included it among its enemies. The group then claimed that it did not consider itself violent and only wanted to cheer on Elche.

In 2017 Elche CF created the Grada de Animación Fondo Sur 1923, in the Fondo Sur of the Martínez Valero, presented by the club as apolitical and open to any supporter. That year the Anti-Violence Commission proposed two fines of 15,000 euros on the club: in April, for a promotion it understood to be aimed at Jove Elx, and in October, for the creation of the new stand, in which 25 of its 185 members were linked to the group, according to Alicante Plaza. In January 2017 the National Police had prevented the group from attending Elche's match in Oviedo.

In its December 2018 update, the State Commission against Violence kept Jove Elx on its list of risk groups in Segunda, alongside Symmachiarii, according to Alicante Plaza. No source located records a later update of that list referring to the group. In 2023 the UMH paper placed it in the Fondo Sur of the Martínez Valero.
