Documented history
Juvenil 1991: Espanyol's animation peña since 1991
Juvenil 1991 is an animation peña of RCD Espanyol. In 2016 it wrote that it had been cheering the team on for «25 years», and the club that summer called it a founder of one of Espanyol's historic animation groups. Since then it has organised away trips, protested over the ticket allocation and celebrated its 35th anniversary in September 2026.
Since 1991: an animation peña
In November 2016, the peña itself wrote that it had been cheering on Espanyol for «25 years», and in July of that year the club cited it as one of the two founders of the historic animation groups. No source found details its early years, its exact founding or its first locations in the stadium.

On 26 July 2016 Espanyol announced a thousand registrations for La 1900, a unified stand with a maximum capacity of 1,200 people, and cited Juvenil 1991 as one of the groups that had communicated their adhesion. The peña says it voted on it at a meeting of members. On 23 November it published a statement in which it regretted that the project «had to end» and maintained that the agreements reached had been violated at every match. The thousand registrations corresponded to the stand as a whole, not to the peña.
