Málaga CF celebrated the supporters' club's eighth anniversary on 7 December 2009. A 2011 fan blog, which says it reproduces the group's website, places the start in the middle of the 2001–02 season and says they decided to colonise the curve between the upper end and Preferencia to turn it into one of the liveliest areas of La Rosaleda.
